Merryl is the practice manager and principal counsellor working with children, adolescence and adults who are experiencing recent or long-term mental health issues. She specializes in Adolescent and Family Counselling and Psychological and Family Therapy. Merryl is a caring Counsellor and Psychological Therapist offering a comfortable, non-judgmental environment for her clients

Doctor of Philosophy (Society & Culture)
Master of Social Science (Human Services);
Bachelor of Social Science (Children & Families Studies);
Diploma in Children's Services;
Diploma in Out of School Hours Care Services;
An accredited Teacher and School Counsellor with the NSW Education Department and an accredited Counsellor and Psychological Therapist with Australian Counselling Association (ACA) and Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA). Merryl is an Academic Advisor at the University of Newcastle - Faculty of Education and Lecturer Faculty of Higher Education and Department of Community Services in the fields of education and counselling TAFENSW.
Merryl has undertaken extensive research into early childhood teacher education and accreditation, child development and well-being. A presenter at the 2018 International Early Childhood Symposium held in Sydney and the 2018 Australian Institute of Family Studies Conference held in Melbourne. Merryl has an extensive background and experience in children and human services, specifically in the area of child and adolescent development and education, having worked with children, adolescents and families from different backgrounds, presenting with diverse issues
